BioDAF has invested years of research designing and perfecting processes for the treatment of landfill liquid runoff. Treatment solutions are customized per project due to the complexity and variability of leachate water. We employ a multistage system combining aerobic, anaerobic, physicochemical, and other advanced processes to deliver enhanced water quality with impressive results.
Our process has taken raw leachate water with a COD of 36,000 ppm and cleaned it to a level of less than 60 ppm — exceeding the requirements of the U.S. EPA. BioDAF has created solutions worldwide for difficult leachate water chemistries. The resulting water is suitable for reuse at the landfill, or for safe and approved environmental discharge.
